Clients who opt to use Altruix as their mental health medication pharmacy will experience improved prescription service. Because of our collaborative partnership, Altruix and LBH will work closely together to ensure that out clients are able to get their mental health medication more quickly and efficiently.

Am I required to use Altruix pharmacy to get my prescriptions?
No! You are NOT required to use Altruix. We will happily send your prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice! There is also no obligation to continue to use Altruix if you change your mind!
Why would I choose to use Altruix as my pharmacy for my psychiatric / mental health medications?

Can I get my non-psychiatric medication from Altruix?
No. Altruix is a specialty pharmacy, specializing in psychiatric and neurological medications only! Therefore other medications such as blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes medications are not available from Altruix. You will need to continue to use your current pharmacy for non-psychiatric medications you are receiving from other providers.
Why would I want to use two different pharmacies?
While we know that it is never good to go without any medication you are prescribed, it is especially dangerous to go without your psychiatric/mental health medications. Sadly, this is completely unavoidable due to logistics involved with prescription processing these days. With Altruix, we are working to streamline these logistics and eliminate missed days on medications to help ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Does it cost me anything extra to use Altruix?
No.
Can I switch back to another pharmacy if I decide I do not want to use Altruix?
Yes, just let your provider know prior to your medication refill.
What if I am required to use CVS or Express Scripts as my pharmacy?
Unfortunately, some insurance plans lock patients into using specific pharmacies. We do not like it anymore than you do! We can try to send your prescriptions to Altruix, and if they are unable to fill them, they will automatically forward them to the pharmacy required by your insurance!
Can I get automatic refills with Altruix?
Yes! Historically, most of our providers shy away from pharmacy initiated or automatic refill requests from most pharmacies, because we have found that these are often outdate prescriptions and it is near impossible to sort through these on a daily basis. However, with our partnership with Altruix, our dedicated pharmacist will be working closely with our providers to ensure all prescriptions are always up to date and ready to be filled on time, every time!
